Touristic information
Alhaurín El Grande is a Spanish village inside Málaga province, located at the south-central part of the province, within Guadalhorce River Valley Area and Coín Judicial party. It extends along the northern slope of Sierra de Mijas and the lands by the shore of the river Guadalhorce, where citrus and other fruit tree cultives alternate with orchads.
The Sierra, with its spectacular views, as well as the important presence of flora and wildlife species, makes this environment a unique natural treasure, with countless corners of great charm, and thence, a priviledged place for hiking and cycling lovers.
Additionally, it counts with the Museum of the Bread and Oil and several monuments, where the Tower of Hurique and the Blazon are to be highlighted.
